Swastika: A version of Spirituality
This ancient symbol is an ideogram of spirituality especially in the Indian subcontinent along with Southeast and Northeast Asian countries.
Having been derived from the Sanskrit word “Swastika”, the symbol is an icon of religious importance mainly for Hindus, Buddhists and Jains.
It is also treated as a mark of good luck and perfection in the Asian culture.
Despite carrying 12000 years of never-ending significance, the symbol is till date prevalent in India, mostly in temples and for flags representing spirituality and religious carry-throughs.
Apart from its most widely understood meanings, prosperity, auspiciousness, and Surya (Sun) are some other symbolic synonyms of this four-armed spiral (what Archaeologists see it).
The Swastika is thus considered as a sacred symbol in Hindu Mythology which brings good luck and a lot of perfection to human beings.
